Q: Isn’t SAP software only for very large businesses?
A: Although SAP does provide business solutions for large organisations, the SAP Business One product has been designed specifically to meet the needs and budget of small to midsized businesses. In fact over 79% of SAP’s customers are SMEs.
Q: What is SAP Business One?
A: SAP Business One is an off-the-shelf ERP package, that brings together your core business functions, including, accounting/finance, sales, purchasing, CRM, stock control, manufacturing and service, into a single unified system, you have a real time, 360° view of your organisation. Q: We are a growing company, will I need to move systems in a few years?
A: SAP Business One is aimed at companies with anything between 2 and 200 employees. The solution is run on a Microsoft SQL Server database, which is one of the most robust and scalable database platforms available. The SAP Business One system is designed to be flexible enough to meet the changing needs of an organisation as it grows, without the need for bespoke programming. Additional users can be added as and when required.
Q: Will SAP Business One be around in the future?
A: SAP has and continues to invest heavily in SAP Business One. To date there are over 30,000 installations worldwide, which is growing year on year. SAP has a detailed, long term roadmap for the Business One product, and it is key to SAP’s strategy of providing solutions for SMEs.
Q: Can I access my SAP Business One system from my mobile phone?
A: Yes, SAP and selected SAP partners have developed a number of applications (apps) that incorporates SAP Business One with your mobile phone. Q: What does SAP Business One cost?
A: SAP Business One is designed for small to midsized businesses and is priced accordingly. Q: Do I have to pay for the system in one go?
A: No, in certain cases SAP can provide financing options, where payments can be spread out over a predefined period.

It means that calendars, contacts, tasks or activities can be shared - and very easily accessed whenever required.
Word documents and Excel workbooks can both be saved as activities in SAP Business One; workbooks can be associated with a business partner or contact person in SAP Business One.
Q: Can I purchase individual modules for SAP Business One?
A: SAP Business One is a complete unified business management solution, and all the core modules are provided as standard.
